Make sure your travel insurance covers activities like scuba diving. Some carriers consider diving an extreme sport; if you do not have specific Adventure Travel insurance, you will not be covered if you have an accident/injury and require medical attention. Read your travel policy carefully to understand what exactly is covered; if you’re unsure call your broker.

Thanks Carin for mentioning this. The scuba instructor on Bermuda IV has her own insurance and guests that dive from the boat are covered under this, but it never hurts for guests to have their own.
