SPAM! by Ed July 2006 We go to enormous lengths to send our newsletter emails only to people who have requested them. Unfortunately some people forget they even contacted us and reach for the spam button. Some email companies, in their battle against junk mail, have decided that this means all emails they receive from us are spam, so by hitting the junk mail button, you could be stopping someone else who DOES want to be notified of new newsletter articles, from receiving them. The answer is to please unsubscribe using the method described in the email, rather than hitting the spam or junk mail button. You will notice we have moved these instructions to the top to make them easier to see. Judging from the many comments we get after each newsletter email, there are many people that find this newsletter helpful. If you enjoy our articles, you can help us by adding our address to your 'whitelist' by specificly naming us as NOT junk and a source you DO want to receive emails from. This has the opposite effect to the 'blacklist' and can help remove generic junk mail headers that might have been set by your Internet Service Provider. We hate spam as much as anybody and have always tried to be careful not to send emails to those that don't want them. If you receive emails from us, we can give you the date you requested our information. If you are no longer interested in receiving emails, PLEASE click on the unsubscribe link or reply to the email with 'unsubscribe' as the subject. We will immediately amend our records. If you would like to be notified when new articles are added to the newsletter and are not currently receiving our email you can subscribe now. Spam is the curse of the internet and people who abuse the system penalize those that are trying to do everything right. Let's hear your comments and suggestions.
