Greetings Friends,

It's time again to update the New Boat News! We are hearing reports on several interesting boats either coming soon or in the fall. There will certainly be others to report on later.

TMM will be adding two new Mahe 36 catamarans in Tortola. These will have two cabins and two heads, much like the Tobago 35 they replaced in the Fontaine Pajot line. They have excellent headroom for a small cat - a minimum of 6'2" in the cabins and up to 6'7" in the salon. The sleeping areas are aft and the heads forward. They will hopefully be ready by Christmas.

TMM will also add a new Lagoon 420 in Tortola and again hopes it will be ready by Christmas. This will be a 4 cabin, 4 head model and should prove very popular. A great replacement to the aging 410. The drive system is electric which is quite interesting. It is similar to the electric 410 The Catamaran Company has had for a few years.

TMM is also planning on adding a Lagoon 440 3 cabin, 3 head boat to their Belize location, but the actual arrival date for this boat is yet to be finalized. A Nautitec 47 is also in the works, but more on this later. TMM added a Privilege 465 to the St. Vincent base a few months ago and although very nice, a skipper is generally required. This fall the first Jeanneau 42DS available for charter will join TMM's fleet as well. This should be a great boat for two couples and will price out the same as their Beneteau 42CC, with A/C.

Horizon will be adding a Lagoon 420 to their Tortola base soon (same layout as the TMM boat), as well as a Lagoon 440 and Bahia 46. Both have a 4 cabin, 4 head layout, with air conditioning. They also recently added a standard Beneteau 323, with 2 cabins and 1 head. A great addition to their already nice selection of smaller boats.

Moorings has announced that the long awaited 4600 will be arriving in August. She looks like an awesome addition to their Robertson and Caine built fleet of cats. Tortola will be the first to have these boats, with other locations to follow later. The Moorings shows both the 3 cabin and 4 cabin versions on their site but only the 4 cabin will be in Tortola for now. Like the 4700's, they will have air conditioning and gen-sets.

One more thing... There are numerous specials available in the next few months, including 10% off CYOA's Bahia 46's in St. Thomas. Take a look at our specials page or contact us for the latest inside scoop! Call us (800 621 7855) or use our request form, email or our new broker chat service.

That's all for now; look for further updates this fall.
