Maldives

The only way to describe the blinding white sands and sparkling blue waters of the Maldives is perfection and the ideal definition of paradise. The archipelago of the Maldives is a thrilling flyover in a seaplane, but to experience the crystal clear blue waters by boat is a truly stunning scene. The Maldives are composed of a submerged mountain ridge, and the islands have long been a welcome sight on the horizon among sailors– a respite from the open waters of the Indian Ocean.

The islands are famed as an idyllic honeymoon destination but the archipelago of shimmering atolls makes a fantastic setting for any holiday getaway. There is plenty to do, with world-class diving, snorkeling, and water sports. If relaxing on the beach or poolside is more your speed, there is plenty of that too.

When chartering a yacht in the Maldives, the climate is warm year-round. There is a monsoon season but because the archipelago is located on the equator, monsoons are milder than neighboring countries.
