Steve McCrea is a long-standing member of the American Yacht Charter Association.
The AYCA is a select group of charter brokers with proven high standards. Membership is by invitation only. To obtain full membership, brokers must have gained a good reputation and have worked full-time in this industry for at least 7 years. Members abide by a strict code of ethics.
This association has had a considerable influence on chartering, both in The Caribbean and Mediterranean. Recent efforts include the standardization of policies on both sides of the Atlantic, the clarification of Coast Guard regulations and the new AYCA contracts.
