Bumblebee

Sandra from Germany and David from Bequia would like to introduce themselves as the captain and chef of BUMBLEBEE, a lagoon 39 crewed charter yacht.

Captain David
David has been around boats most of his life and worked on many different charter catamarans throughout the Windward Islands. He is a qualified captain and a very capable sailor with previous experience in the US Coastguard as well as as a ferry captain. In this spare time, David also spends lots of time on the water and hobbies include spear fishing, surfing, kite-surfing. Off the water, he enjoys reggae music and is a skilled mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast. There isn’t anything he can’t fix!

David has been living in Bequia for many years and this is where he calls home. He is familiar with all the Grenadine islands, the best snorkeling and diving spots and has a large amount of local knowledge of the area and activities and things to see and do throughout the islands.

Chef Sandra
Sailing is Sandra’s passion which is why she decided to sell her house and company and make her dream of ‘living on a boat’ possible. She has sailed over 6000nm and led many trips as a skipper in Europe. Furthermore she loves to cook and has worked in the hospitality business for many years which makes her a passionate host as well.

Together Sandra and David look forward to welcoming their guests onboard to discover the Caribbean Islands and create unforgettable memories.
