Born in Miami and raised along the south coast of Brazil, Captain Alvaro cultivated a passion for the ocean at an early age. His fondest childhood memories are sailing and cooking with his family. These memories fueled his career as a Captain and professionally trained chef. Working a variety of roles from deckhand and chef to captain on yachts ranging from 20m sailing yachts to 40m motor yachts, Captain Alvaro’s yachting background is as diversified as his cuisine. Captain Alvaro’s cuisine is influenced by the blend of many cultures and his love for sharing a meal. In 2015, Captain Alvaro graduated from Florida International University with a Mechanical Engineering degree. In addition to sailing and cooking, Alvaro’s other passions include kiteboarding, cycling and photography. Captain Alvaro looks forward to welcoming you aboard CYGNUS CYGNUS!

The accommodation layout incorporates four guest cabins and one crew cabin.
Three guest cabins sport a walk-around Queen sized 155 cm bed, a sofa, and a laptop table. Each also has large side windows, upholstered surfaces in Canadian ash and en suite heads including separate spacious shower, bidets, and large mirror.
One guest cabin has upper and lower singles and shares a bath with a Queen cabin. Ideally suited for children.
The saloon sports large side windows and upholstered surfaces in Canadian ash. CYGNUS CYGNUS features a dining area for eight and a spacious cockpit for lounging and al fresco dining.
