Location Details: Will be based in Imperia, Italy for charters in the South of France, Corsica, Sardinia and Amalfi coast
CAPTAIN: Mario Merl – Austrian

Mario has over 18 years as a professional yachtsman, the last 10 of which he has spent as a Large Yacht Captain. Over the years, he has gained substantial experience managing new builds and refits, making him a perfect match for M/Y Spring. Mario is an active captain who leads by example, to ensure the boat is perfectly maintained and ready to provide the highest standard of service.
Mario is just as active in his spare time as he is on duty. He enjoys trail running, mountain climbing, kit-surfing, sky diving, and sailing. Aside from sports, Mario is extremely passionate about motorbikes and all aspects of yacht design and engineering, and with a background in economics, he is well prepared to manage all aspects of Spring.

Coming from Spain, Jose started his engineering career on board commercial ships, including cargo ships and fishing boats, later he moved onto ferries before joining the yachting industry. With twenty years of boating experience under his belt Jose is knowledgeable and disciplined, he is certain to get the job done.
